Missouri Transportation Development Strategies

Hendren Andrae's Government Strategies Group has unique experience in the area of transportation development for the state of Missouri. Having a former Assistant Counsel to the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission as part of our team has allowed us to provide invaluable insight on Missouri transportation issues to our clients.

We have provided representation for the Missouri Transportation Coalition (Associated General Contractors of Missouri, Associated General Contractors of St. Louis, and the Heavy Constructors Association of Kansas City); the Missouri Transportation and Development Council (MTD); Lambert-St. Louis International Airport; and Transport Missouri.

Hendren Andrae has served as lead counsel for the Highway 63 Transportation Corporation in Kirksville, the Highway 67 project in Poplar Bluff, and the Highway 65 project in the city of Hollister. As counsel, we assisted in securing approval of the project with MoDOT, helped draft the appropriate ballot language for the successful sales tax initiative and negotiated all other appropriate contracts with MoDOT & Koch Performance Roads.

Our experience and expertise in this area helps guide clients with transportations issues through a complicated administrative and legislative process. We help form partnerships between state agencies, local governments, communities, highway contractors, and funding agencies. These partnerships help successfully meet Missouri's demanding and often critical transportation needs.
